Samsung launches HT-E6750W 7.1 3D Blu-Ray home theatre system for Rs 51,990

Samsung Electronics has unveiled its latest home entertainment system - the Samsung HT-E6750W 7.1 Channel 3D Blu-ray Home Theatre System. The HT-E6750W combines Vacuum Tube Valve Amplifier technology with glass fibre speakers, 3D Sound Plus, Samsung's Smart Hub and various connectivity options.

According to an official statement issued by the company, the vacuum tube built in Samsung's HT-E6750W enriches audio experience by reducing ambient noise. Glass fibre speakers enhance sound clarity through heat resistant and anti-vibration capabilities, and the 3D Sound Plus feature adds to the intensity of this system's hi-fi sound quality.

Samsung's updated Smart Hub provides access to entertainment options, and a selection of Samsung Apps, web browsing capabilities, and more.

Also with Wi-Fi Direct, the Samsung HT-E6750W is capable of connecting to compatible devices such as smartphones and Smart TVs, without cables.

The HT-E6750W’s 1,200mm-tall tower speakers have a gloss black finish, while the exposed drivers have silver phase plugs. The top driver can also be tilted, angling the sound upwards into the room. With 2 x HDMI inputs, the HT-E6750W system lets you import a variety of content without compression, from a digital camcorder and multimedia PC. The HT-E6750W has comprehensive multimedia support from USB devices, DLNA, built-in Bluetooth, and ConnectShare Movie.

The Samsung HT-E6750W home theatre system is priced at Rs 51,990.

In August, Philips had launched its own home theatre systems aimed at Indian consumers. The range offered a customised user interface reflecting the local cultural preferences – Cinema setting for movies, Sangeet for music and Cricket for sports. It features 3D angled speakers to disperse sound evenly around the room. Other functions include Fullsound - to bring your MP3 music to life; SafeSound – for maximum music enjoyment without hearing damage; Philips Songbird - to discover, play and sync your music. It comes bundled with a set of O’Neil headphones. The SoundSphere technology of the Docking Speakers, equipped with AirPlay, enables users to indulge in the experience of home entertainment.
