BenQ unveils GP10 Ultra-Lite wireless LED projector

Indian brand BenQ has unveiled its latest creation, the GP10 Ultra-Lite wireless LED projector. The projector is meant for a demographic searching for a home theatre system without the need for a giant TV, with the wireless capabilities of the projector.

The GP10, weighing 1.5 kg, comes with power-efficient LED projection technology, 720p HD-ready short-throw projection, 30,000 hours LED Light Source, 3D capabilities, 550 ANSI lumen brightness, optional detachable DVD player, HDMI multimedia connectivity, USB multiple format support for movies, pictures and music, Wireless Display, SD card slot, and two built-in 3W stereo speakers with SRS. GP10 also comes with optional detachable DVD player.

According to an official statement by BenQ, the GP10 is capable of projecting a big 160-inch 720p HD-quality picture. It is LED-powered with an enhanced 550 ANSI lumen brightness, 10,000:1 contrast ratio and 100 percent NTSC wide color gamut performance. A major advantage of using the LEDs is the power-saving capabilities.

The GP10 is also equipped with multimedia connectivity to support DVD players, DTH & Set-top boxes, PCs, tablet PCs, gaming consoles and Apple devices.

Last month, BenQ had launched the GH600 and GH700 digital cameras in India. These point-and-shoot compact digital cameras feature 21X optical zoom with 16-megapixel sensors and 25mm wide-angle view. They also have O.I.S. support, 1cm Super Macro Mode and a three-inch 460k LCD screen.

The GH series digital cameras let you select from various shooting modes. Color Filter includes LOMO Mode for adding artistic effects to photographs, while Color Accent converts all the colours in a photograph into black and white except for a selected colour. The 1cm Super Macro Mode lets you capture close-up shots from as close as 1 cm and Panorama mode helps you capture landscapes or large group shots. You also get some other shooting modes such as P/ Av/ Tv/ M Mode, Speedy Burst, Beauty Enhancer and Advanced Smart Scene Mode.
